This item is a black and white Tripartite leaflet. There is an oval litho of mother with three children on the far right section and a woman pouring the tonic for a man is on the far left section. The center section contains text reading, "A national remedy, Brown's iron bitters. A true tonic Complete strengthener for the young, middle-aged and old. Brown's made that does not contain alcohol or whiskey - the only medicine containing the great strengthener iron that does not blacken the teeth or give headache. Sold by all druggists. Brown Chemical Co., Baltimore." The back sections include additional information,including where to request free instructive reading on the left-hand side, then followed by specific reports of the bitter's effectiveness on the center and right-hand sections.
