Description:

The front and back cover have a wraparound color photograph of an electric skillet, strawberry cream pie, gelatin mold, and a table setting. A white border on the bottom has the title in red and black on both the front and back cover. The front end page and first page have a color photograph of a tipped over shopping bag of groceries, the table of contents, and a typed signed letter by Mary Blake, Home Service Director, Carnation Company. There are sections on Sips 'N' Snacks, Main Dish Magic, Saucy Ways, Suppers From a Bowl or a Casserole, and Dessert Doings. Page 7 has a section: For all Hairpin Mechanics with information on being careful fixing things. The last page and the end page have "Steering Around the Supermarket" with tips on planning with menus and shopping lists, organizing shopping trips and purchasing Carnation Evaporated Milk to use instead of milk or cream. There are several color photographs of recipes.
