The front cover features a black and white photographic illustration of a basket of saltines, salad bowl, plus oil and vinegar holder located towards the front. The title "Sunshine Biscuits Favorite Recipes" is written in black lettering above the illustration on an orange band. At the bottom there is a cartoon of seven chef's, also along an orange band. The back cover is exactly the same as the front except the black and white photographic illustration is of Hydrox cookies on a footed clear glass serving dish. The front end page contains "Quick Facts for Kitchen Use" and a handy oven temperature guide. The rest of the inside pages are dedicated to various recipes that fall under the categories of appetizers, soups and sauces, main dishes, salad, hot bread, sandwich treats, dessert favorite, and party-time specials. All recipes entail a list of the ingredients needed plus directions on how to prepare the dish. There are black and white photographic illustration located throughout the inside pages. The last inside page and back end page are made up of "Table Setting Tips."
