Description:

The front blue panel of this four-fold leaflet shows a woman holding a chocolate layer cake. Pictures of bread and rolls are at the top and bottom of the cover with the title in white print on black backgrounds. The author's name is in the lower left corner. The back reads, "A man gets 'grown-up' faster when he eats his milk, too!" A color drawing of a young man holding a pair of long pants is below on the right above a can of Carnation Milk in the lower right corner. On the left is a promo for children drinking Carnation Milk with "Carnation Irradiated Milk 'From Contented Cows'" at the bottom. Attached to the back panel is a red, black and white coupon to send 15¢ in coin or stamps for a copy of the Carnation Cook Book by Mary Blake. On the back of the coupon is a promo for Carnation Milk with a color drawing of a large can of Carnation Milk superimposed on a scene of several cows grazing in a field beneath a bright sun. Inside are recipes for breads and rolls, cakes, cookies, cup cakes and muffins, pies and pastry, doughnuts, dumplings and sauces.
