Five Minute Recipes
Description:
This leaflet is a trapezoidal sheet folded four times to show labels of recipe categories at the bottom of each fold. The front has a drawing on a dark blue background of a woman serving a large piece of strawberry shortcake. The title is at the top in three diagonal blocks with green borders at the bottom and a gold background at the top. Attached to the front panel is a yellow and blue coupon to send in for a free copy of Mary Blake's Cook Book. Recipes include soups, dressing and sauces, as well as desserts. The first inside panel introduces "Time Saving Recipes": "When 'hubby' telephones at the last minute that he is just starting home and is bringing a friend to dinner, the thoughtful housewife refuses to get flustered for she is prepared for just such an emergency." Recipes follow for soups, meats and fish, desserts, vegetables, dressings and sauces, specialties and beverages. This leaflet was also published with a different front panel and was entitled "5 Minute Recipes."
