The front panel begins at the top with a red band containing the word "cake" in white lettering. Below, there is an illustration of a cake and a piece of cake on two separate plates. The phrase "Good...Better...Best, which is yours" is stated in black lettering towards the bottom with a large red question mark located to the right. In the bottom left-hand corner, there is an NRA symbol. The back panel features a promotion for Rumford Baking Powder followed by a can of Rumford Baking Powder on black and white rays. At the bottom, the phrase "Rumford All-Phosphate Baking Powder The Two-To-One Leavener" is written in black lettering. The inside panels are dedicated to informational paragraphs discussing the topic of balanced recipes and a recipe for a plain cake. The recipe entails a list of all the ingredients needed plus step-by-step directions on how to prepare the dish. There is also a panel explaining the reasons why cakes fall, contain poor texture, do not rise, crack, and have soggy streaks. Throughout the inside panels there are small various illustrations depicting a woman in a red dress baking.
