The front cover features a drawn colored illustration of a maid serving dinner to a wife, husband, and son. Below the illustration, the word "Recipes" is written in black and yellow lettering. The back cover contains a can of Wesson Oil in the center. The inside pages begin with informational pages describing the Wesson Snowdrift Oil and continue with a foreword along with measurements for food materials. The rest of the inside pages are dedicated to various recipes that fall under the categories of soups, fish, desserts, meats, vegetables, salads, dressings, breads, and candies. All recipes entail a list of the ingredients needed plus detailed directions on how to prepare the dish. Page forty eight is titled "Your Own Recipes" and contains a large blank space for individuals to write their own recipes. There is a hand written recipe for Dandelion Wine inserted in the back of the pamphlet.
