Little Cookbooks: The Alan and Shirley Brocker Sliker Culinary Collection

The Prince Of The Gelatin Isles

no preview available

The pamphlet is primarily a story poem for children, but with recipes to accompany the story, along with color illustrations. The front cover features the title text (and story name), The Prince Of The Gelatin Isles. The color illustration on the front cover features a pink, round prince with a scepter in his left hand. He is sitting in a lavendar gelatin boat with a purple sail, while the waves that wash near the boat are yellow. A green border surrounded the drawing. The back cover is absent text, but features a color drawing of the prince's boat approaching five different towers of gelatin, each representing a different flavor. In the prince's boat is a box of Royal Fruit Flavored Gelatin. Almost all recipes adjacent to the story poem are for desserts.
