Granite Iron Ware Cook Book
The front cover features a drawn colored illustration of a milk maid holding a milk bucket as she looks at a white cow that is wearing a red ribbon around her neck. The title "Granite Iron Ware Cook Book" is written in red and white lettering along the top and bottom. The back cover contains a drawn colored illustration of a young boy and girl facing each other while standing on a deck. The girl is holding a Granite Iron Ware pitcher behind her back. At the bottom, "Compliments of George W. Hobbs" is written in black lettering against a yellow background. The front end page is titled "2002-2003 Price Guide" and contains a list of prices for several products located on various pages throughout the pamphlet. The inside pages begin with testimonials and continue with various recipes that can be prepared by using different Granite Iron ware. Some of the categories that the recipes fall under are soups, fish, meats, vegetables, pudding, candies, salads, and entrees. All recipes are written in paragraph form and entail all the ingredients needed plus directions on how to prepare the dish. There are also several pages throughout the inside pages titled "Granite Iron Kitchen Goods" that contain illustrations of different products available for purchase. The last inside page contains the heading "Granite Iron Toilet Articles" and ten illustrations of various products such as a Slop Jar, Windsor Foot Tub, and Chambers. The back end page is a continuation from the front end page.
