The front cover is a tan wood and grained background with an illustration of a horizontal line of fishing lures, a knife, and a green hat plus a vertical line of fishing poles, a bait basket, fish, and a net. The title, "Fishin' Tips" is written at the top in green and red lettering. At the bottom, the Stroh's beer logo and the phrase "A Guide To Fishing And Fun" are stated. The back cover begins at the top with "Enjoy fire-brewed flavor" written in black lettering and continues with the Stroh's Beer logo. Below, there is a can, glass, and bottle of Stroh's Beer. At the bottom, there is a blue band with the company name and address written in black lettering. The inside pages begin with a typed letter signed by "Bud" Synder and continue with different information about fishing. Some of the topics discussed and depicted include Why Go Fishing, All Fish Are Color Conscious, Lake Fishing, Fishing Fast Water, Night Fishing, and Ice Fishing. Throughout the inside pages there are color illustrations of various events that take place during fishing. The back end page entails an illustration of the Stroh's Beer plant and a note stating that individuals are invited to visit the Stroh Brewery Company. No page numbers.
