The front and back covers of the pamphlet feature a color, wraparound photograph of a tabletop with individual blue plates of various sandwiches. Text on the front cover appears in a white box at the top, reading Turn To Michigan Bakeries Sandwiches, then in small print beneath the title, Copyright 1957 American Institute Of Baking. Above the title is a color drawing of a packaged loaf of Michigan Bakeries Enriched Bread. The back cover also includes a white text box (bottom of the cover), headlined Insist On These Michigan Bakeries Breads At Your Grocer, followed by a list of ten products, most of them breads. An American Institute Of Baking seal is included in the text box. The inside pages of the pamphlet primarily feature sandwich recipes, accompanied by color photographs plus color and black and white illustrations. Suggestions for sandwich-making (Sandwich Principles), along with breads and spreads also appear.
