Description:
The front cover is outlined at the top with a row of pans and a portrait of a young chef in the left and right corners. In the center, the title "The Universal Cook Book" is written in blue lettering followed by an illustration of a food chopper. At the bottom, the publisher information is stated in blue lettering. The back cover is blank. The inside pages begin with a couple of informational pages describing the food chopper and continue with recipes that are split into three sections. The sections are American and English Dishes, German Dishes, and French Dishes. All recipes are written in paragraph form with detailed directions on how to prepare the dish. The last couple of pages are made up of promotions for a bread maker and cake maker along with the index for the pamphlet.
