Like New Sales? Like New Profits?
The single-fold, four-panel leaflet is a promotional tool to soft drink retailers in the Bethlehem-Allentown areas of Pennsylvania for a new product from 7-UP: Like, a diet soft drink. Front panel text reads Like New Sales? Like New Profits? Then... You'll Like Like, The New Diet Drink Of 7-UP Quality. Of the latter references to "Like," the second one appears in a red oval, with a trade mark reference. A green and red color drawing of a bottle of Like accompanies the text. The back panel of the leaflet is headlined The Like Plan (again, with "Like" in a red oval), beneath which is information for retailers about the new beverage, how it will be packed, its wholesale price, the recommended retail price, the retailer's profit, and more. The introductory date is listed as early in April 1965. The interior two panels include promotional text across both panels, organized according to: New... From Seven-Up; Really Quenches Thirst; Diets Like Like; and You'll Like Like. A red and green color illustration of a six-pack of Like bottles accompanies text in the final category.
