Your Guide To Home Canning

The back cover contains an illustration of a file of fruit behind an empty Kerr Mason jar against a black background outlined in red and white. Below the illustration, the quote "Taste the Difference" is written in red lettering. At the bottom, there is a green section for agent's name and address with two piles of fruit in each corner. The front end page consists of four different types of mason jars. Each jar has an illustration plus a brief paragraph describing the jar. The inside pages are dedicated to various informational pages for such topics as steps in canning, methods of processing, time tables, principles of sealing, test for seal, and choice recipes. The choice recipes contain nine recipes for foods including beans, berries, corn, ice water pickles, orange marmalade, peaches, peas, sauerkraut, and strawberry preserves. On page fourteen, there is a seal from the Good Housekeeping Institute along with a coupon located at the bottom for the Kerr Home Canning Book. The back end page is made up of various "Kerr Caps and Lids." Some of the products listed includes Mason Lids, Economy Caps, Wide Mouth Mason Lids, and Economy Clamps.
