5 Patterns Gorham Silverplate
Description:
The front panel starts off with the title "5 Patterns Gorham Silverplate" written in black and white lettering. Behind the section with the white lettering, there is a black panel that lies on top of a one-half lavender circle. Underneath the black panel, the phrase "The next thing to sterling" is written in black lettering. At the bottom, the words Lady Caroline, Churchill, Vanity Fair, Shelburne, and Washington Irving are also stated in black lettering. The back panel contains the heading "Fancy Single Pieces" and continues with a list of various utensils including spoons, knives, ladles, and forks. At the bottom, the dealer "W.L. Stone & Son" is listed in black lettering. The inside panels begin with an illustration of five spoons all consisting of a different pattern plus a purple Gorham chest located to the right of the spoons. There is also an inside panel dedicated to a list with four separate sections for Staple Dozens, Fancy dozens, Cutlery, and Carving Sets. Each section has a list of utensils plus the price for twelve, eight, or six of them.
