The front cover of this book of serrated recipe cards features a white title, Bread Winners, on a black background. The overall design features the shapes of diamonds, all with blue backgrounds except for the one behind the title. A dish (cup and saucer, teapot, etc.) appears in each blue diamond. The back cover uses the same format, except that the central diamond has a white background with red text that reads Holsum Bread 52% Richer In Milk. Inside cards include recipes, but also suggestions and advice (for example, How To Make Rolled Or Pinwheel Sandwiches, plus party menus for kids of varying ages). Black and white photographs accompany many of the cards.
