The front cover features a drawn colored illustration of a harbor scene containing a fishing boat at the dock, men moving barrels on the dock, and sailboats in the harbor. The title "Old Gloucester Sea Food Recipes From Frank E. Davis The Gloucester Fisherman" is written in black lettering along the top and bottom of the illustration. In the bottom right corner, it states that the price is 25 cents. The back cover is made up of a map showing Gloucester and locations of the fish in the Atlantic Ocean near Gloucester. The front end page contains a typed letter signed by Frank E. Davis. The following inside pages contain information about the history of The Gloucester Fisherman plus a drawn illustration of the Gloucester factory. The rest of the inside pages are dedicated to various seafood recipes including lobster, tunny, clams, codfish, salmon, shrimp, sauces, and fish flakes. All recipes entail a list of the ingredients needed plus directions on how to prepare the dish. There are illustrations located throughout the inside pages of different prepared dishes stated in the pamphlet. The back end page is made up of the index which lists all the recipes that can be found throughout the inside pages.
