Description:
The front cover features weather flags for winds, rain, and temperature across the top and continues with a large blue oval filled with the title "1941 Miles New Weather Almanac and Hand Book of Valuable Information" written in white and black lettering. At the bottom, the publisher information is listed inside of a red band and written in white lettering. Along the left side, there are drawn colored illustrations for each of the four seasons. The back cover begins at the top with the heading "Even Children Know" and continues with a drawing of a husband holding a glass of Alka-Seltzer while his wife looks at a dress catalogue. To the left, there is a drawing of a little girl saying to a little boy "Shall I ask him now, Jimmy?" The rest of the cover consists of a promotion for Alka-Seltzer. The inside pages are made up of informational pages and calendar pages. The informational pages include different details about particular medicines and sicknesses. Some of the topics discusses are one-a-day vitamin A and D tablets, Alka-Seltzer, and Nervine. The calendar pages are each dedicated to a different month during the year of 1941. At the bottom of each month, there is a list of historical events that took place during that month and a weather forecast for that month. The back end page is titled "Headache?" and continues with a promotion for Alka-Seltzer.
