Description:
The front cover begins at the top with the title "Some Ice Cream Problems Solved" written in red lettering inside of a box outlined with a thin brown line. Below the box, there are brown leaves forming an upside down triangle. The back cover is plain with the Hansen's trade mark in the center. The inside pages begin with a title page and a six page introduction signed by K.J. Monrad. Page nine begins the ice cream information and is titled "Some Ice Cream Problems Solved." These informational pages contain topics such as "The qualities desired in ideal ice cream, "Receipts for ice cream," and "Standardization." There are illustrations located throughout the inside pages of various machines used to make the ice cream. On page thirty, there is a chart for the "Legal Standard for Ice Cream" which is made up of every states in the United States. The last inside page has two titles including "Dairy Preparations" and "Food Preparations."
