Description:
The front cover features an illustration located in the center of a steam generator, receiver, galvanic battery and a cooler. Above the illustration, the title "The Magnetic Almanac For 1866 For The Use of Everybody" is written in black lettering against a yellow background. At the bottom, the publisher information is listed. The back cover begins at the top with the phrase "Ometa 1866 Almanac" and continues with an oval portrait of Ometa. Below, the company name and address are listed in black lettering. The front end page contains a promotion for Wahoo Bitters including informational paragraphs and a caution statement. The rest of the inside pages are dedicated to certain medicines that cure various sicknesses. Some of the illnesses listed are Inflammation of the Bowels, sore eyes, burns, and ulcers. There are calendars for each month in 1866 located throughout the inside pages. The back end page is titled "An Indian Legend" and continues with the tale about "The Legend." No page numbers.
