New Magic In The Kitchen


The front cover features a drawn colored illustration of four spotlights aimed at a dish being uncovered by a homemaker. At the bottom, the phrase "175 Delicious Dishes, Made With Sweetened Condensed Milk" is written in blue lettering against a white background. The back cover is blank. The inside pages begin with a table of contents that contains all the recipes listed in this pamphlet along with what category they fall under. The categories include breads, cakes, candies, caramel dishes, custards, drinks, frostings, ice box cakes, ice creams and sherberts, pies, tarts, puddings, salad dressings, sauces, vegetable dishes, and miscellaneous. Pages seven through thirteen are informational pages that explain topics involving the advantages of sweetened condensed milk in cooking. The recipes begin on page fourteen and end on page sixty three. All recipes entail a list of the ingredients needed plus detailed directions on how to prepare the dish. There are drawn colored illustration located throughout the inside pages of various prepared dishes.
