Borden's Recipes


The front cover is a light blue color with the title "Borden's Recipes" written in dark blue lettering with blue lines around it in the center. The back cover begins at the top with three words including Rich, Pure, and Wholesome written in dark blue lettering. Below, there is a can of Eagle Brand and a can of Peerless with the phrase "The best that science can produce" written in between them. At the bottom, the phrase "Leaders of Quality" is written in blue lettering followed by "EST. 1857." The front end page contains a table of weights and measures outline with a think blue line. The following inside pages begin with an informational page describing "Borden's Milk Products Stand Supreme for Quality" and continue with a page consisting of the "Directions For Use." The rest of the inside pages are dedicated to various recipes that utilize Borden's products in them. Some of the recipes listed include veal soup, oyster soup, canned peas, milk bread, fig cake, spice cakes, little caramel pudding, and fruit milk sherbert. All recipes are made up of a paragraph filled with detailed directions on how to prepare the dish written in blue lettering. The back end page contains a promotion for Borden's Peerless Brand Evaporated Cream.
