The Calumet Prize Drawing Book


The front cover features a drawn colored illustration of Robinson Crusoe and Man Friday on a beach holding weapons. The title "The Calumet Prize Drawing Book" is written in pink lettering above and below the illustration. All of the four corners are a light blue color with a black star. The back cover contains the phrase "Compliments of W.F. Outland The Grocer Buy The Very Best Goods Sell At The Very Lowest Prices" written in black lettering. The front end page is titled "$600.00 In Cash Prizes" and continues with three paragraphs describing how a consumer can win. The rest of the inside pages are dedicated to drawing pages. These pages consist of a black and white sketch on them followed by a page of tracing tissue so that children or individuals of various ages can trace the sketch given. There are sketches of a man looking at a watermelon, a pear on a vine, flowers, a boy in a boat, and a container of Calumet Baking Powder. No page numbers
