Heckers' Household Recipes
Description:
The front cover features an illustration of a woman in a green dress and red and white striped scarf holding a bundle of wheat in her left hand plus several stalks in her right hand. The title "Heckers' Household Recipes" is written above and below the illustration in white lettering. In the right corner, there is a white box titled "Ask Your Grocer For Heckers' Perfect Baking Powder." The back cover contains two illustrations including a windmill at the top and a large red flour mill at the bottom. Along the left side, there are a bunch of wheat stalks, poppy, vine, and blue forget-me-nots. The inside pages are dedicated to various recipes and colored illustrations of different Heckers' products. All recipes utilize a certain Heckers' product in them and fall under the categories of waffles, cakes, breads, puddings, doughnuts, and muffins. Each recipes includes the ingredients needed plus directions on how to prepare the dish. The Heckers' products featured in this pamphlet are self-raising flour, self-raising buckwheat, baking powder, wheaten grits, oatmeal, and farina. No page numbers.
