Recipes For The Use Of Angelus Marshmallows
The front cover features a drawn color illustration of a piece of white cake with a cherry on top and marshmallows behind it. The title, "Recipes For The Use Of Angelus Marshmallows," is written in black and white lettering against a light blue background. At the bottom, the editor along with publisher are listed in black lettering with white swirly lines around them. The back cover contains six different red, white, and gold containers of Angelus Marshmallows against a dark blue background. The inside pages begin with a title page that entails the title, editor, and publisher information and continues with an introduction page written by Alice Bradley. The rest of the inside pages are dedicated to various recipes that use Angelus Marshmallows in them. Some recipes include sweet potatoes with marshmallows, caramel bread pudding, strawberry delicious, peach marshmallow charlotte, marshmallow gingerbread, chocolate frosting, marshmallow butterscotch patties, marshmallow fudge, and peach pastries. Each recipe includes the ingredients needed plus detailed descriptions on how to prepare the dish. There are various drawn illustrations located throughout the inside pages of different prepared dishes found in the pamphlet. The back page contains a seal of approval from The Bureau of Foods, Sanitation, and Health followed by an illustration of The Cracker Jack Co.
