A Pure Gelatine


The front cover features a yellow Crystal Gelatine Box closed in a red line around the each of the cover followed by the phrase "Guaranteed to make two quarts of jelly." At the top, the title "A Pure Gelatine" is written in purple lettering. The back cover contains a promotion written in blue and pink lettering about Gelatine being granulated and packed air-tight in moisture proof packages. At the bottom it states, "Guaranteed under the Food and Drug Act June 30, 1906." The first three pages entail paragraphs describing the Crystal Gelatine product. The rest of the inside pages consists of recipes that use Crystal Gelatine in them. Each recipe contains the ingredients needed plus detailed directions on how to prepare the dish. Some recipes include coffee jelly, pineapple jelly, gelatine frosting, wine jelly, and lemon sherbert.
