The front cover features a drawn color illustration of a school slate with red and blue edges that form a frame for a chubby baby sitting on a pillow while holding a pencil in his left hand and a booklet in his right hand. The title "Chubby's Magic Book" is written in white lettering. The back cover contains a thin white line and a red line framing a drawn color illustration of a sun behind a box of Fletcher's Castoria sitting on ice bergs.
