The front cover begins at the top with the title "The History of an Owosso Industry" and is followed by the author B.A. Nagelvoort. There are three black and white drawn illustrations each consisting of a different Renown product. At the bottom, the company name and address is listed in black lettering. The back cover features "An Enduring Investment" which describes the guarantee for long years of great service. In the center, there is an illustration of The Independent Stove Company building along with a horse and carriage. The inside pages begin with a title page and a "In Memory of Bernard Nagelvoort" page. The rest of the inside pages are dedicated to topics such as The Start in Detroit, The Move to Owosso, New Management Brought In, Stove Production Ends, Conversion to War Production, and The Termination. Each of these topics describes a different part of The Independent Stove Company's history. There are illustrations throughout the inside pages including depictions of Renown Stoves, Ranges, Heaters, Wall Clothes Locker, and a Gasoline Dispenser.
