I Can Make It With Chex!
The front cover features red edges with a blue frame filled with a caramel background. Inside the frame, there is a cartoon of Lucy holding a plate of cupcakes and Charlie Brown holding Chex Mix. The title "I Can Make It With Chex" is written in black lettering above the cartoons and is followed by the phrase "12 Fun and easy recipes that kids and parents can make together." The back cover also has red edges with a blue frame filled with a caramel background. In the top left corner, the company name and address is listed and in the right corner the postage stamp is shown. At the bottom, a similar cartoon from the front of Lucy and Charlie Brown is depicted but in a smaller form. The front end page features the line "This Cookbook Belongs to the Great Chef" and below is a line so that an individual can print their name. The following inside pages being with a table of contents and continues with a page of "helpful hints for cooks of all ages." Pages five through twenty seven contain fun recipes that children can make with their parents. Each recipe has a picture at the top, the ingredients, thing's you'll need, preparation time, cooking time and tasks the parents can do along with tasks the kids can do. All recipes include different characters from the cartoon "Charlie Brown." There are dotted lines located on each ingredient "card" so that one can cut it out and save it! Page twenty nine entails recipes for different Chex cereals. The back end page consists of cooking terms and their definitions.
