Fairbank & Co. Chicago, St. Louis, New York. The cover is an orange-beige background with two black and white drawings in a cotton field, one with a black woman carrying a basket and the other of a black man filling a basket. A third black and white drawing is of a steamship. The back cover features a drawing of a mail carrier emptying a bag, with letters pouring out. Text on the back cover reads Testimonials From Practical Housekeepers, Bakers And Cooks, Who Recommend Cottolene, (Litho by) Goes Litho Co., Chicago. The inside pages are devoted almost exclusively to testimonial comments from Cottolene users. According to text on the introductory page, the purpose of the publication is "to afford the numerous friends of Cottolene opportunity to speak for themselves." A few black and white photographs appear on the inside pages.
