The back and front covers feature a wraparound photo of a picnic table filled with good things to eat such as bran muffins, chicken and rice, cookies, corn on the cob, salad and chex mix. The front cover has title "The Chex Natural Way to Good Cooking" written in yellow lettering. The back cover has the form number and printing information written in white lettering on the bottom right and left corners. The front end page entails a few paragraphs about chex cereals along with three boxes including Corn Chex, Wheat Chex and Rice Chex located at the bottom. The following inside pages begin with an index page and continue with recipes that utilize some form of chex in them. The recipes are split into six different categories including Breakfast and Brunch, Breads, Main Dishes, Meal Mates, Desserts, Candies, Cookies and Snacks. There are color photographs of various dishes throughout the entire pamphlet. Some of the dishes that are photographed include Baked Egg and Chex, Quick Blueberry Coffeecake, Old-fashioned Whole Wheat Bread, Garlic Sticks, Creamy Fried Chicken, Tangy Meatloaf, Thyme Enough Casserole, Crunchy Onion Rings, Mocha Mallow Pie and Chocolate Chex Parfaits.
