Description:

The front cover features a drawn color illustration of a pear, pea pods and a tomato with a five star yellow container below. The title "Admiral Recipe Book" is written in white lettering with a green leaf underneath it. The back cover is a plain blue color. The front end page has the company name, address and prepared by information written in black lettering. The following inside pages begin with an opening letter from the Home Economic Department and continues with various recipes and photographs of the main dishes located inside. The main headings for the recipes include Appetizers and Beverages, Breads and Coffee Makers, Yeast Breads, Cakes and Cookies, Refrigerator Cookies, Cereals, Eggs, Frosting's, Fruits, Ice Cream, Pies, Poultry, Puddings and Other Desserts, Salads and Sherberts. On page seventy three, there is a "Vegetable Freezing Chart" that consists of the categories vegetables, variety best suited for freezing, maturity desired, how to prepare, boiling water and steam. At the end of the inside pages, there is an "Alphabetical Recipe Index." The back end page is plain.
