Description:
The front cover is an orange color featuring a drawn illustration of a woman in a blue and white dress with white ruffle trim holding a cake on a platter. There is a blue oval behind her head and above it the first half of the title "108 Sensible Recipes" is written in blue lettering outlined in orange. Below the illustration, the second half of the title "Compliments of Van Duzer Extract Company" is written in blue lettering followed by the address and establishment year, 1850. The back cover consists of the Van Duzer logo in the center of the flap. The inside sheets each contain various recipes for such things as soups, entrees, cakes, cookies, puddings, and beverages. There are no page numbers.
