The front of the trade card features a drawn color illustration of a two layered teared glass dish(epergne) loaded with fruit plus various dishes filled with fruit, a bottle of Van Duzer's Extract and cakes on a white table cloth. There is a young girl that has her hand on top of the epergne and her left hand is resting on the fruit table. On the end of the table cloth, in black and red lettering it states "Van Duzer's Extracts are the best for flavoring ice cream, jellies, custards, pastry &c. For sale by all first-class grocers." At the top of the illustration the title "Perfectly Pure! Van Duzer's Fruit Extract" is written in blue, yellow and red lettering. The back of the trade card entails a promotion for Van Duzer's Fruit Extracts, Van Duzer's Essence of Jamaica Ginger and Van Duzer's Florida Water. At the bottom, the publisher is stated.
