Description:
The front cover is a wraparound black and white checks at the top and bottom. In the center, there is a drawn black and white illustration consisting of a fat teenager cartoon looking into a mirror. There is a hand coming out of the mirror beckoning her. Below the illustration, the phrase "1500 Calorie Diet for Teen-age Girls" is stated. The back cover entails a drawn black and white illustration of a slim teenager leaping out of the same mirror with the word "Surprise!" written above. The inside pages begin with topics such as "I was born fat," "I come from a fat family" and "But diets are horrid!" On page five, there is a weight chart that allows an individual to keep track of their weight. There are different combination choices for each meal located on pages six through ten. The back of the inside pages contain recipes including "Cheese Souffle" and "Stuffed Peppers." The back end page entails a couple paragraphs about Keeping up the good work and principles of reducing. In the lower right corner, there is a box of Ry-Krisp along with the copyright information.
