33 New Tea Drinks Long Short Iced Hot


The front cover begins at the top with the title "33 new tea drinks long short iced hot" and is followed by a photograph of a cup containing spiced tea and a cocktail glass. Underneath the photo, the phrase "Nothing refreshing like brisk Lipton Tea" is written in red lettering below a white dotted line with an arrow on the end. The back cover consists of only the publisher "Thomas J. Lipton, Inc. Hoboken, N.J." listed at the bottom in black lettering. The front end page and the following page feature a short story about why "Tea is an American drink." The story does consist of various small drawn color illustrations describing the story. On pages two and three, there is a diagram depicting the "Right way to make "Brisk" Lipton Tea." The following inside pages feature various recipes for beverages such as lime delight, Roman punch, cranberry tea punch and hot tea punch. On each page, there are drawn illustrations that go along with each recipe. Pages 15-16 consists of different items that can be added to your tea to make it more "glamorous." Some products include lemon, honey, strawberries dipped in sugar, orange wedges and mint sprigs dusted with sugar. Pages 17-18 contain 10 tips for a perfect Teen-age tea party.
