No Sar, We Can't Trade!
Description:
The front of the trade card is a drawn color illustration of an African American woman holding a box of coffee and an African American man holding a dead chicken while a boy in red and white striped pants, black jacket and tan hat listens as he sits on a wooden box. On the bottom, there are a few lines stating "No sar, we can't trade! My package of McLaughlin's XXXX Coffee is better'n a dozen your old chickens." The back of the trade card begins at the top with the word "Why" and continues with five different sections of reasons to buy the product all beginning with the word "Because." At the very bottom, the publisher is listed in black lettering.
