Burmese Boxmakers
Description:
The front of the trade card is a drawn color illustration of two Burmese [Myanmar] women and two Burmese men making boxes in an open air shelter. Both men and women are sitting at a table that is filled with boxes and supplies. At the very bottom in tiny, small lettering the title "Burmese Boxmakers" is listed. The back of the trade card consists of two questions and two responses. The first question is "Why is McLaughlin's XXXX Coffee glazed?" The second question is "What is glazing composed of?" Underneath the questions and responses, the publisher is stated followed by a phrase "A beautiful picture card in every package." The bottom of the card has been trimmed so only the caption is left.
