Make Again Recipes Inspired By Canned Pineapple
Description:
The front cover is a wraparound background consisting of the colors green, black and blue brush strokes. There is a Hawaiian maiden dressed in red sarong carrying pineapple and other Hawaiian fruits on a board on top of her head. On the right side, the title "Make again recipes inspired by canned pineapple" is written in pink lettering. In the lower right corner, there is a drawn illustration of a pineapple. To the left of the pineapple, there are two items. The first is the "Hawaii The Aloha State" symbol and the second item is a few lines stating "New York World's Fair, 1964-1965, Souvenir Recipes." The back cover is plain. The front end page entails a few paragraphs that state some facts about pineapple. The paragraphs are outlines in a brown box with a drawn illustration on the top of a pineapple, palm trees and a parrot. The following inside pages consist of various recipes that include pineapple along with some photographic images of selected recipes. Some recipes include Spiced Pineapple Slices, Peppy Bean Bake, Pineapple Oatmeal Muffins and Pineapple Pepper Slaw. The back end page begins at the top with a brown box containing "Can sizes for pineapple's famous shapes." It lists all the different can sizes and how many slices or cups are in each. Below the box, there is an index grouped by subjects such as beverages, bread and vegetables.
