Acorn Stoves & Ranges [1883 (c.a.)]
The front of the trade card contains a drawn color illustration of two soldiers standing at attention. The soldier on the left has a high headpiece of the Queen's guard while the other soldier on the right has a small flat hat and a very long mustache. Both are carrying guns and are in a red uniform. If you flip the top over, two more different heads appear. At the very bottom, the title "Acorn Stoves and Ranges" is written followed by the phrase "For sale by," The printer is also listed right below the soldier on the right's shoe. The back of the trade card begins at the top with the two other heads that appear once flipped over to the front. They are in the same uniform as the soldiers on the front except their hats and weapons are different. The hats are conical in shape similar to hats worn by the Chinese of the time. Below the two soldiers heads, the title is written followed by a promotion for the Acorn Stoves. The very bottom line on the back reads "Every One Praises Them."
