Gas Refrigerator
Description:
There are two separate trading cards that are identical besides for their background color and the recipe on the back. One is a light orange color while the other is a dark orange. The front of the trading cards begin at the top with the phrase "Gas Refrigerator." Below, there is a drawn illustration of a refrigerator. On the right side of the refrigerator there is a large square containing the phrase "Famous silent freezing system with no moving parts." Underneath the picture there is a paragraph describing the product along with logo for the brand Servel. The back of both trading cards consist of a recipe. The light orange card entails a recipe for an orange cake while the dark orange card entails a recipe for prune fluff. Both recipes are from the Demonstration Kitchen of Derby Gas & Electric Co., Derby, Conn. under the supervision of Carolyn Webber Bixby.
