Iced Specialties From Serv-el
The front cover begins with a drawn color illustration of a woman in an apron carrying a tray that has two red and white sherberts on it. There is a Serv-el refrigerator in the background that is the color white. In front of the woman there is a dining room table and behind her there is a buffet. Below the illustration, the title "Iced Specialties from Serv-el" is listed. The back cover is a plain light green color with an oval in the center consisting of the brand Serv-el Electric Refrigeration in a white font against a blue background. The front end page entails a drawn color illustration of a woman in a green dress getting a pitcher out of a Serv-el Refrigerator. Below the illustration, the brand and publisher are listed in a black font. The following page is a description page that informs individuals about the Serv-el Refrigerator. The rest of the inside pages consist of various recipes that once prepared, can be stored in the Serv-el refrigerator. Some of the recipes include, fruit cocktail, Serv-el Russian punch, salads, desserts, parfait, jello and puddings. Every inside page has some sort of drawn color illustration and a recipe for that picture underneath it. Not all recipes include a picture, only a select few such as strawberry grapefruit cocktail and frozen cheese salad. The back end page entails a drawn color illustration that depicts how the Serv-el mechanism may be utilized in connection with your present refrigerator. The Serv-el refrigerator is located on the top half while the other refrigerator is located on the bottom half. It also has the printer "Bert L. White Company, Chicago" listed in the left bottom corner. There is a scrap of paper with a handwritten recipe for brownies stuck inside. There are no page numbers.
