Bordering the title box on the left and right are color drawings of blossoms, leaves and coffee beans. The back cover features a color drawing of a plantation supervisor inspecting ripe beans on a coffee tree. No text appears on the back cover. On page two, a Seal Of Acceptance logo is included from the American Medical Association's Committee On Foods. On the same page, it is noted that the publication was first copyrighted in 1931 by the Bureau of Coffee Information, and that this copy is the third printing.
