The front cover of the pamphlet features a large color drawing of a can of Davis' Baking Powder, with a yellow decoration on each side. The dark green background on the cover has a yellow, ornamental border with two lilies at the top. Text reads Davis' O.K. Cook Book, then beneath the drawing of the can, Useful Information And Budget Of Fun. In the lower right, beneath the border is additional text, D 2396. The back cover features a similar design and color scheme, but with a color drawing of a box of Davis' High Grade Pure Corn Starch in the middle. Text above reads No Better Corn Starch Can Be Made, and below reads Conforms To all Purse Food Laws. The inside front cover has a black and white drawing of the Davis O.K. Baking Powder plant on Hoboken, N.J. The title page includes text reading Good Food And Good Humor Are The Chief Requirements Of Health And Happiness, and credits humor in the pamphlet to The Foolish Dictionary. Humorous entries along with recipes appear throughout the pamphlet. A guide to measures and weights appears on the final page.
