The front end page has a table of contents and Important Safeguards which continue onto the first page. There is information on Mirro-Matic Special Features, "Read Before You Cook," directions for cleaning and care, six illustrated steps to cooking with the Mirro-Matic and how to adapt recipes for Mirro-Matic cooking. There are tables for cooking various foods: Meats, Fresh Vegetables, Soups and Chowders, Fish and Seafood, Frozen Vegetables, Dried Vegetables, Pasta, Cereals, Fresh Fruits and Dried Fruits amid the recipes. There are instructions for sterilizing, including Terminal Sterilization of baby nipples, bottles and caps and a section on pressure canning in glass jars with charts and time tables. There are three pages of questions and answers about the Mirro-Matic pressure cooker and order blanks to send in for replacement parts. The back end page has an illustrated list of replacement parts.
