The front of this single folded leaflet has a color drawing of a boy wearing a red sweater and dark blue tie sitting at a table spreading Karo Syrup on a piece of bread with a knife. There is a dark blue can of Karo Syrup and a loaf of bread on either side of him. Below the title is in black and red print in a box framed in a thick red and a thin black line. A color drawing of the Karo Indian Maiden is to the left of the title. The back has "Important To Mothers," telling mothers that doctors recommend serving Karo Syrup, which contains large amounts of Dextrose, to their children for its high nutritive value. Inside are recipes for Waffles, French Toast, Griddle Cakes, Chocolate Nut Fudge, Penuche and Roast Ham, Virginia Style. At the end is a promotion to send away for "The Modern Method of Preparing Delightful Foods" cook book for 10ยข coin or stamps.
