Description:

The front cover is a Victorian multi-color design on white with a thin blue frame. "Bi-Carbonate" is above and "of Soda" below a Coat of Arms logo. A ribbon below has "Joshua Anthony & Co., Manufacturers of, and Baking Powder in three lines with Clifton Park, N.Y. on a banner at the bottom. The back cover has a 1876 calendar in a Victorian frame with an eagle on top, all in dark red on a yellow background. There is a decorative green, yellow and blue border. Hirsch & Larzelere, Prs., 30 S. 4th St., Phila. is at the bottom in small print. The first pages have lithographs of the Natrona and Greenwich Chemical Works factories. "To The Trade," a message from the Pennsylvania Salt Manufacturing Co., contains test results and endorsements from various chemists. Following are "Receipts" for breads, cakes, pudding, cookies, doughnuts and remedies for indigestion and toothaches.
