The front and back covers of the book are encased in a heavy glossy laminate and are bound with a gold wire spiral binding. Both covers have a gold border with white corners. The front cover has a color photograph of roast turkey, ham and asparagus and strawberry cheesecake on a linen tablecloth. The title is in black print in a large gold square inset at the top of the photograph. The back cover has a color photograph of a small covered Nesco 4 Roaster Oven and a larger Nesco 18 Roast Master with the lid off showing ears of corn inside. A yellow, a red and a green pepper are in the lower left. At the top is a gold square with NESCO in bold red letters above the company name, the cook book publisher's name and address and a barcode. The front end page has a table of contents for eight sections: Introduction; Bake Section - Recipes; Bake Section - Breads, Pastries & Desserts Recipes; Roast Section - Roasting Charts, Recipes; Cook Section - Recipes; Steam/Poach Section - Vegetable Steam Chart, Recipes; Entertain Section - Recipes, and Index - Other Nesco Information. At Printing, October 1991, Made In USA, Printed in USA, The Metal Ware Corp. 1991. The back end page is blank. The first page has an introduction by Virginia Peterson Olson, NESCO Home Economist. The next pages have information about the features of the roaster ovens, instructions for use and safeguards. Each section of recipes has a color photograph of prepared foods. Recipes are printed on pink and white squares and some pages have black-and-white drawings of the Nesco product used. There is an index at the end with information to order additional copies of the cook book. The last page has drawings of other Nesco electric products and an order form to order them.
