The New World of Welch's
The front cover of the pamphlet includes the text The New World Of Welch's, along with a Bicentennial Edition logo (1776-1976) in the lower right corner. The black plastic bound, wraparound front cover also features a color photograph of completed dishes using Welch's recipes: Ice Cream With Red Grape Juice Dessert Sauce; Ice Cream With White Grape Juice Dessert Sauce; Ice Cream With Grape Raspberry Dessert Sauce; Viennese Cookie Sandwiches; Red, White and Purple Vegetable Mold; Golden Grape Cake; Red Grape Juice; White Grape Juice; Purple Grape Juice; and Glazed Beef. The back cover includes no text. The inside front cover features a message from the Office of the President of Welch Foods, Inc., indicating that the publication is dedicated to the 200th anniversary of the United States, and that Welch's has been part of that history for over half of that time frame. Recipes included in the pamphlet are categorized in a table of contents according to: Red Grape Section; White Grape Section; Purple Grape Section; and Red, White and Purple Grape Section. Beneath the table of contents is a diagram identifying the dishes on the front and back covers. Many recipes are accompanied by color or black and white photographs. An index to the recipes is included on p. 27, while p. 28 includes Handy Facts covering the following topics: Liquids; Measurements; Measuring; Greens for Salads and Garnish; Molded Salads; Punches; Opened Juice Bottles, Cans; and Grape Stain Removal. The inside back cover includes color photographs of Welch's Refreshment Areas at Disneyland, Disney World, Six Flags Over Texas, and Chautauqua Institute.
