Majestic Cook Book

The wraparound cover is black with gold printing. The front has a drawing of a ship with a Majestic Range on the main sail. Majestic Cook Book is in the lower left corner. The back cover has a drawing of a range. The first pages provide information on the quality of Majestic Ranges and the new office and factory in St. Louis. There are drawings and descriptions of various models of ranges throughout the cook book as well as many charts of miscellaneous information: Easter Sundays from 1801 to 1950, care and management of plumbing apparatus, names and characteristics of the planets, state interest laws, postage rates, capacity of corn cribs, Dr. Beaumont's Digestion Table and family remedies. There are recipes for breads, cakes, pastries, soups, meats, fish, game, eggs, oysters, vegetables and puddings. At the end are 10 pages of Opinions of the Press, testimonials for Majestic Ranges. On pages 24-25 is a black-and-white photograph of the Geo. W. Brown, Jr. Hardware Store in St. Louis, Missouri and several testimonials sent to Mr. Brown about demonstration of the Majestic Range at his store.
